I just spec'd DW from unholy for the first time for our naxx tonight, on Patchwerk i did 5056 using the titansteel mace and the grasscutter offhand, last week i did 4100 as unholy using cryptfiends byte

http://www.wowmeteronline.com/combat/log/347546However, on most of the other fights in the three wings we did tonight my dps really wasn't much different than it has been as unholy, and finally on the Sartharion kill Vaccinate(unholy dk) beat me by 300dps and he'd never been above me on any fight in the past
Long story short my 2hander is better than my 1handers and DW is still very competitive, if not a little better. But I don't feel that the Patchwerk fight is a good comparison between the two as it is relatively short with a high heroism uptime which inflates the difference between the two, which led me to have higher expectations of the build than it could deliver on

I sound more sure of those assumptions than I meant to, I am mostly wondering if others have similar experience on the dps difference between 2handers and DWing on bosses other than Patchwerk. There could have been a couple anomalies from tonight's raid that lead to my lower dps on other bosses that would have carried over to a 2handed build as well ie: our blood dk being retarded with very low abom might uptime(and being our only source of the ap buff) to unsually high latency and low framerate on my end hampering my performance on fights that require movement
