With the implementation of the Battle.net 2.0 system, as of right now, "beta keys" will no longer be given out to gain access to the beta client.  This means you won't be able to buy or sell access to the beta client unless you own the account that the access has been granted to.

What does this mean?
Any e-mails, websites, or anyone in trade chat attempting to sell you a Cataclysm "beta key" is completely bogus.  Please disregard and report those who are simply scamming to take advantage of those who don't realize that beta access to the Cataclysm expansion is only account activated.

Also, be careful if scammers attempt to get your battle.net account ID in order to claim they can activate the Cataclysm beta client on your account.  If this isn't obvious it's a scam, I don't know what else to tell you.  Please don't give anyone your Battle.net account information -- thinking they will give you access.  Most likely they are only attempting to scam or exploit your account in some way.  Also, realize too that Battle.net is bigger than WoW.  Once you start playing Starcraft II, Diablo III, WoW: Cataclysm, etc. all these games will be under your Battle.net account umbrella.  If someone gains access to your Bnet account, not only are you compromising your WoW account but any other games you purchase from Blizzard and their accounts in the future.
